We provided great-tasting arepas, sure. But even more importantly, we were giving people back their cherished memories of a simpler time when their mother or grandmother would make arepas from scratch. Before Delicias Andinas opened its doors, people would spend half their day cooking, grinding, hand-pressing, and cutting just to enjoy that one-of-a-kind taste. Today, you can relax and eat while we put the time, attention, and love into our arepa recipes. Staying true to our original recipes from 20 years ago, our attention to detail is unmatched. We start by slow cooking our specially selected corn grits. Then we use our own unique grinding process and shape our arepas. Finally we bake our arepas a la perfección without any artificial ingredients. Every day, our products are baked and packaged fresh with the same care and devotion as if we were serving our very first customer.
